Product Description
1. Cartridge Heater Working Principle
Electric cartridge heater, also known as single-end tubular heater, features one heating end and one cold end. It is constructed with a metal tube containing resistance alloy wire as heating material. The wire is surrounded by high-purity magnesium oxide for insulation. This design ensures high power density, thermal efficiency, and rapid heat dissipation.
2. Performance Rating
- Maximum Temperature: ≤ 300 °C
- Maximum Watt Density: 5~11W/cm² (depending on heater size and operating temperature)
- Voltage: 12~250V (or as requirement)
3. Characteristics
- Alloy 304 Stainless Steel: Provides high temperature strength, thermal conductivity, and oxidation resistance up to 1200°F (650°C).
- German Ni-Cr Wire: NiCr8020 resistance wire is evenly stretched through ceramic insulators.
- High Purity MgO: USA imported Magnesium Oxide fills internal space to maximize dielectric strength and heater life.
- Flexible Leads: Standard 30cm stranded nickel wire with high-temperature insulation; other styles available.
- Ceramic End Cap: Protects the cartridge internally from contamination.

Frequently Asked Questions
What materials are used in your cartridge heaters?
We use high-quality Stainless Steel 304 for the sheath, German-imported Nickel Chrome resistance wire, and high-purity Magnesium Oxide imported from Japan/USA for optimal insulation and heat transfer.
What is the maximum temperature these heaters can reach?
Depending on the specific configuration and watt density, our cartridge heaters can handle working temperatures up to 750ºC.
Can I customize the leadwire length and type?
Yes, while the standard leadwire is 300mm, we can customize both the length and the insulation material (such as silicone rubber, PTFE, or metal braided) to suit your specific application.
What information is required to place an order?
Please provide the heater shape, tube diameter, overall length, wattage, voltage, and your preferred leadwire type and length.
Are these heaters suitable for medical equipment?
Absolutely. Our cartridge heaters are commonly used in medical applications including dialysis machines, sterilization units, and blood/fluid warmers.
What is the standard warranty period?
We provide a 12-month warranty on our cartridge heaters to ensure reliable performance and customer satisfaction.
